Our client is a growing Swiss digital agency helping small and medium-sized businesses accelerate their growth through digital strategy, AI-driven solutions, SEO, performance marketing, web development and other innovative digital services. To support their continued expansion, we are looking for a highly skilled SEO Content Writer who combines excellent German writing skills with a strong understanding of SEO, emerging Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and digital publishing. Your Role As SEO Content Writer, you will create high-quality digital content across a wide range of industries and subjects, including long-form articles, landing pages, blog posts and structured web content. You will work closely with the SEO team to produce content that performs effectively in search engines while providing genuine value to readers. The role requires strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar or complex subjects and translate them into clear, authoritative and engaging content. Key Responsibilities Research and write high-quality long-form articles, blog posts, landing pages and web content in German and English Produce content for different industries, audiences and search intents Adapt tone, structure and writing style according to the subject and target audience Optimise content for readability, search intent and SEO/AEO best practices Collaborate with the SEO team on keyword strategy and content planning Conduct independent research into technical, financial, legal, healthcare, industrial and other specialist subjects Produce both in-depth qualitative content and more search-driven content efficiently Occasionally create content in Swiss Standard German Deliver consistently high-quality content within agreed deadlines Stay up to date with developments in SEO, AEO, AI search and digital content Your Profile Native-level German and professional English Excellent writing, editing and research skills Professional experience writing SEO-focused content in a B2B environment Ability to produce high-quality content at a fast pace Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent and digital content optimisation Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar and potentially complex subjects Comfortable writing across a variety of industries and specialist topics Experience producing both qualitative and search-driven content Reliable, structured and self-directed approach to work Strong interest in SEO, AEO, AI search and evolving digital content practices Experience working with content assignments priced per word Nice to Have Familiarity with Swiss Standard German Experience with AI-assisted content workflows Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress Experience creating supporting visual content using Canva, AI tools or similar Previous experience within a content, SEO or digital marketing agency The Opportunity Remote-first position within Switzerland Join a growing and entrepreneurial digital agency Work across a diverse range of clients, industries and specialist subjects Strong ownership over the content you produce Work closely with experienced SEO, digital and technology specialists Develop your expertise in SEO, AEO and emerging AI-driven search Opportunity to grow alongside the business as its content activities expand Interested?
