What we are looking: Senior OpenStack Engineer Location: Zurich, Switzerland Our client, a leading Swiss technology company, is looking for an experienced Senior OpenStack Engineer to join its cloud infrastructure team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, operating, and evolving a large-scale OpenStack platform that supports critical enterprise services. Your Responsibilities: Design, develop, and operate the company‘s OpenStack platform. Architect and optimize OpenStack Compute, Storage, and Networking services. Automate deployments and operational processes using Ansible, OpenTofu, and related tools. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues at 2nd and 3rd level. Collaborate closely with infrastructure and engineering teams. Provide technical leadership on architecture and technology decisions. Drive continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability. Your Profile: Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical qualification. Several years of experience designing and operating OpenStack environments. Strong expertise in Linux administration and container technologies. Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Infrastructure as Code. Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and storage technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent German (C1 level) and good English. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation. #LI-RR1
