As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz , we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Global Project Manager for a temporary assignment of 12 months, with high probability of extension. As part of the Project Management Chapter, the Global Project Manager plays a key role in optimized product delivery, accountable for all project management aspects of various projects from simple to complex. The role takes the project/product from the original concept through completion by developing and directing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, spending, resource plans, and status reports. As a trusted advisor, the Global Project Manager translates and drives projects into products and enables the organization to use energy and time effectively and efficiently while quickly responding to changing business needs across the portfolio. For these two open positions, the company is looking for candidates with an academic degree (at least a Bachelor‘s) in a technical or natural sciences field. Depending on the role, specific expertise is required in one of two distinct areas: Position 1 (Assay Development): Proven experience in Assay Development with a strong background in Software Engineering Position 2 (Lab Automation): Demonstrated experience in Lab Automation within Biochemistry and Chemistry Both profiles require a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on project management experience (up to 15 years is welcome). Candidates must bring solid expertise in both Waterfall and Agile (SAFe / Hybrid) environments. Proficiency with standard project management tools (such as Azure DevOps, , or Planisware) and fluent English language skills (written and spoken) are required; German is a plus. Well-organized candidates with strong organizational skills and excellent stakeholder communication will be ideal for this role. Tasks & Responsibilities Main tasks Sets up and implements project/program/product structures for product development and product care activities including communication management, timelines, resource and budget plans, progress, and cost control Creates, coordinates, and maintains integrated project plans including dependencies, resources, and budgets allowing the teams to work efficiently and effectively Accountable for quality implementation in projects in the following areas: Project risk management; Critical path analysis; Scenario creation and analysis; Budget; and robust planning Consistently executes project management processes including guiding and managing preparation for milestone reviews, capacity reviews (cQCR, SCR & fQCR), etc., as applicable and may lead improvement initiatives Follows best practices in project/product teams and fosters continuous improvement by sharing best practices and knowledge among peers Selects project methodology and applies agile methods as appropriate, including coaching and guiding teams in project methodology including agile practices (with Project/Program Leads or PMC management if appropriate) Can work in a hybrid Agile role combining Agile methods (usually within the project/product team) with non-Agile techniques (usually needed with partners and some functions) Manages meetings and may manage knowledge sharing between project/product teams and sub-chapters to enhance project effectiveness and optimized delivery Establishes positive project/product team dynamics through team building Goal Setting: Establishes, measures, and reports the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), standard metrics, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or Outcome Based Planning (OBPs) key results for projects enabling teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness Acts as a trusted advisor with a 360° view on all levels to advise and support the project/product teams as well as the broader organization in holistic planning, project risk management, scenario creation as well as critical path analysis to ensure an optimized value delivery Functions as a single point of contact and control for project and program data collected from the functions Identifies project risks and describes potential implications for budget, timeline, and scope.
