As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel , we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Analytical Associate in Analytical Development for Synthetic Molecules for a temporary assignment of 12 months, with high probability of extension. Tasks & Responsibilities Development and optimization of robust analytical methods ( , HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) for the quality assessment of starting materials, intermediates, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Planning and meticulous execution of experiments, including reaction monitoring and method development. Close collaboration with process development and cross-functional partners to coordinate analytical activities and sample management. Close cooperation with the QC (Quality Control) unit to ensure a smooth transfer of the developed analytical methods. Creation of high-quality documentation, including analytical procedures and reports that serve as the foundation for method validations and regulatory filings. Application of an innovative mindset and digital tools for continuous improvement of analytical workflows in a dynamic environment. Must Haves Completed vocational training in natural sciences (Laboratory Technician) or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with at least 2-3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Solid practical experience with analytical instruments ( , HPLC, GC, KF, MS) as well as strong expertise in method development. Strong scientific writing skills and the ability to summarize and present results of complex experiments precisely. High quality awareness and uncompromising attention to detail, including work within a non-GMP development environment. Proactive, self-motivated work style and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes in a dynamic team environment. Fluent English language skills (both spoken and written) and German is beneficial. Nice to Haves Knowledge of GxP requirements and method validation is an advantage.
