Senior Modern Workplace Delivery Manager Location: Zurich or Bern, Switzerland Working Model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Language: Fluent German and English required Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Modern Workplace Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of cloud and workplace transformation projects across a range of enterprise clients. This role combines project leadership, stakeholder management, and technical understanding of modern workplace environments. You will act as the primary interface between customers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the Head of PM/SDM, you will play a key role in driving cloud adoption, workplace modernization initiatives, and digital transformation programs. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud migration and Modern Workplace projects Collaborate with presales and technical teams to support RFP responses and solution proposals Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout project implementation and operational transition phases Manage project timelines, budgets, scope, risks, and quality objectives Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including internal specialists and external partners Build strong client relationships and ensure successful project outcomes aligned with business goals Support continuous service improvement and transformation initiatives Your Profile Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, cloud, or digital workplace projects Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills Ability to lead multiple workstreams in complex technical environments Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments Strong team player with excellent communication skills Passion for technology and continuous learning Fluent German and English; Swiss German is considered an advantage Required Technical Experience Practical experience in IT Project Management ITIL methodology and service management principles Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies Cloud migration and transformation projects Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Container platforms including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker or OKD Networking concepts including routing, switching and firewall technologies Software-defined infrastructure environments Infrastructure automation and deployment tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef Experience with at least one major cloud platform, including Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform Preferred Background Experience delivering enterprise workplace modernization programs Exposure to managed services environments Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and infrastructure operations Relevant project management certifications are advantageous This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled team and contribute to large-scale cloud and workplace transformation initiatives for leading organizations across Switzerland.
